It's Time for the Crab Feed

Tickets are on sale now for the 15th Annual Folsom Music Boosters Crab Feed - a must attend Folsom tradition – on Friday, November 19th, 2010 beginning at 5:30pm! Live and silent auctions will be held throughout the evening as you are entertained by Folsom High School's nationally acclaimed jazz bands and jazz choirs. Individual tickets are $35. This price will go up on November 12th to $40 so buy your tickets early! King Crab Tables are also available to purchase for $275.

We are asking for Booster families to please make a minimum $30 donation to the live or silent auction, whether in the form of gift certificates, large ticket items, gift baskets or simply monetary. To donate items for our auction, contact:

Call today to make arrangements for your donation to be picked up!

Michele Sams will also be in front of the Band Room on Monday October 18th and Monday October 25th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm to collect donations.

Alumni Corner

Kelsey Iverson is a 2006 Folsom High music graduate who played trombone in Jazz Band I and sang with the Jazz Choir. Kelsey went on to play the trombone with the Sacramento State University Jazz Band A, the Sac State Orchestra, and several chamber groups. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Trombone Performance.

Kelsey is currently spending 3 months living in Prague and traveling throughout Europe. Kelsey said, "I am reminded of the Folsom Jazz Eurotrips in 2002 and 2006 almost every day here!" When she returns to the U.S., she plans to attend grad school, possibly at CU Boulder in Colorado. But that decision won't be made until she hears back from all of her applications. We wish you much good luck, Kelsey, from your Folsom High music supporters!
